Donna’s Heading Back to the Trenches

Picture of Donna Brown whos taking part in the Back to the Trenches run in SeptemberDonna Brown, HR Administrator at Crawley (on the right of the picture) has set a fresh challenge for herself this year. This time she’s heading ‘Back to the Trenches‘ instead of the long distance swimming we’ve featured here previously.

Like Megan Davies and Derri Evans, her challenge involves running and LOTS of mud. Donna’s chosen charity is Winston’s Wish, whose work she’s seen in action. Says Donna:

“My best friend Annie sadly lost her husband at the age of 36 last year as a result of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. He left behind 4 beautiful children and Winston’s Wish has helped them as it is a charity that helps bereaved children.

This has become a charity close to me as I have seem how much it has helped out Annie and her children.”

Annie is also taking part and their challenge takes place on September 21st in Redhill, Surrey. As Donna adds:

“I know it’s a way off yet, but got to get in training.”

She’s aiming to raise £500 via her JustGiving Page.
